She was born June 26, 1923, Richville, Morgan County, Utah to John Henry and Hilma Forsberg Rose. She was reared in Morgan, UT where she lived most of her life. June was very proud of her pioneer and Swedish ancestry but most of all her family. She was gracious, tender, kind, loving, and thankful. Visitors were always welcomed into her home she was the ultimate hostess. Constantly thinking of others, service was her byword. She served many throughout her life. She had an abiding testimony of Jesus Christ, our Savior, and loved serving in her LDS ward and stake assignments. June married her eternal sweetheart, Raymond Wiscombe, in the Salt Lake Temple June 19, 1944. They are the parents of seven children. They also raised three of her sister Eva's children, after Eva passed away.

June was a scholarly woman who pursued education and encouraged all to reach for the stars. She received her bachelor's degree in education from the University of Oklahoma. She taught fifth grade at Morgan Elementary School for many years until her retirement. Upon her retirement, she fulfilled two missions with her husband; one to the Hawaii Temple Visitors Center and the other to the Micronesia Guam Mission (Majuro Island).

She loved her flower gardens, the beautiful Morgan Valley and could still sing all four verses of the Morgan High School song.

She is survived by her children, John (Joy) Tempe, AZ, Rosanne Shaw (Jeff) Bountiful, UT, Richard (Susan) Morgan, UT, Connie Keuffel, Holladay, UT, Jim (Liz) Morgan, UT, Karin Richins (Norris) Choteau, MT, Karl (Tanya) Highlands Ranch, CO, Lynne London (Rick) Morgan, UT, Scott Rich (Linda) Sandy, UT, David Rich (Denise) Morgan, UT; and brother, Sterling Rose (Mildred) Layton, UT. She is the proud grandmother of 46 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren, soon to be 58. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; brothers, Horace and Paul Rose; and sister, Eva Rich.
