Earthquake aid to Peru provides pattern for disaster assistance

A story on the ReliefWeb Web site indicates that "the international response to the recent devastating earthquake in Peru provides a good example of a coordinated effort to deal with a disaster." The LDS Church is singled out among the non-governmental organizations that offered significant assistance. Elder Russell M.
