Andrew D. Holm

"A Talented Man"

Andrew Dexter Holm passed away Oct. 12, 2007 from complications of mesothelioma.Andrew was born Sept. 26, 1928 in Spanish Fork, UT to Hans Andrew Holm and Ellieta Beck. He married MarJean McKinlay Jan. 5, 1953 in the Manti Temple.

He was hard working and started working at a young age. He spent his life taking care of his family, neighbors and friends. When you needed his help, he was there.

He had a deep love for his Savior, which he expressed by actively serving in many callings in the LDS church. He attended BYU and graduated from the U of U with a BA in Architecture. He enjoyed working in construction where he designed and built many homes, businesses,

shopping centers and government

facilities.

He served in the US Navy from 1948-1952 in the Korean Conflict where he received commendations -one of extreme meritorious service while on the USS Henrico.

He leaves behind the family he dearly loved: his wife, MarJean; children, James Andrew (Rosemary) Holm, Gene Maurice Holm, Jolene (David) Steele; brother, Ellison Beck Holm; sisters, Shirley Argyle (deceased), Dorothy Scott; brother-in-law, Madison Jack Argyle; 10 grandchildren; three great-grand-children; many nieces and nephews. Andrew will be forever missed and cherished.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Cottonwood 7th Ward, 5565 So. Neighbor Lane (1610 E), with a viewing from 9:30-10:45 a.m.

Burial at Murray City Cemetery.
