First Lt. Sam Hanks hugs nephew Canon Croshaw and daughter Naomi Hanks Friday upon his arrival in Salt Lake City with the 141st Military Intelligence Battalion. The 34 members of the unit spent 10 months in Baghdad screening detainees and interrogating 4,000 of them. The 141st was able to help direct ground troops to weapons caches and the location of roadside bombs.
