Utah State

GOLF: Utah State's men's golf team rallied from a 7-3 deficit during day two of Ryder Cup-style play against SUU, but it wasn't enough as the Aggies lost to SUU, 11.5 to 8.5, on Sunday at the par-71, 6,082 yard Logan Golf & Country Club.

SOCCER: Utah State fell to Fresno State, 1-0, Sunday afternoon in Fresno, Calif. The Aggies fell to 6-10 on the season and evens its conference record to 2-2. The Bulldogs improve to 8-6 on the season and 3-1 in the WAC.


SOCCER: SUU junior Kimly Anderson and Senior Catherine Johnson each scored a goal as Southern Utah women's soccer team picked up its first league victory with a 2-0 decision against the Mastodons of IPFW on Sunday afternoon. The win improves the Thunderbirds to 1-2-3 in conference for a total of six points. IPFW drops to 1-6-0 in the Summit League with three points.

BASKETBALL: Cougar fans can get their first look at this season's BYU men's basketball team Wednesday at the annual Cougar Tipoff. The event is free to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. in the Marriott Center.

Cougar Tipoff features a full-length men's team scrimmage, a two-ball shooting contest and meet-the-team autograph signings for both the men's and women's teams with free team posters.
