Does film critic have issues?

I have to say, I attend movies featuring LDS themes with caution. I'm tired of feeling horror and embarrassment for the filmmakers, actors and audiences involved in some of the movies recently released. And so it was with trepidation that I attended "Passage to Zarahemla." Not very long into the movie, my 8-year-old laughed aloud along with everyone else in the theater. I relaxed, finally realizing I could be enjoying this film.

Audience reaction means a whole lot more to me than critic reactions. I've read the reviews and wondered if your film critic, Jeff Vice, saw the same movie I did. The audience reaction was totally positive. They laughed and gasped in all the right places. The actors were great, the plot fun and imaginative and you didn't have to be Mormon to enjoy it.

I think maybe Vice had a bad day, or Chris Heimerdinger unwittingly cut him off in a grocery line sometime in the past.
