PROVO — One of the most prolific scholars of developmental psychology will present a free lecture on "Positive Parenting and Positive Development in Children" at Brigham Young University on Wednesday.
Marc H. Bornstein, senior investigator and head of child and family research for the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, will speak at 5 p.m. in the Wilkinson Student Center's Varsity Theater. As editor emeritus of Child Development and current editor of Parenting: Science and Practice, Bornstein is well versed in research documenting the influence of positive parenting. f+tHis Bornstein's own research includes the study of parental influence from infancy through adolescence.
