Utah soccer hits road for a pair of instate clashes

The University of Utah women's soccer team plays a pair of instate road games this week.

Utah travels to Utah Valley State today for a 4 p.m. match against the Wolverines and then travels on Saturday to Logan to take on Utah State at 1 p.m.

Utah — 6-2-2 overall — is riding a seven-match unbeaten streak. The Utes are 2-0-0 all-time against Utah Valley and 8-1-0 against Utah State.

Utah may have to juggle its lineup due to several injuries. Kelly Isleib is out with a knee contusion and Adele Letro is day-to-day with a strained quad. Jen Christoffers also has a strained quad. Erin Dalley has a sprained MCL and Nicole Cardon has a thigh bruise.

Islep ranks first in the nation in assists per game and Letro ranks No. 1 in the MWC and No. 3 in NCAA Division I in goals per game (1.2).
