CIA analysts to share insights at BYU today

PROVO — A group of analysts from the Central Intelligence Agency will visit the Brigham Young University campus today to present "Inside the CIA Post-9/11" at 3 p.m. in Room 238 of the Herald R. Clark Building.

These CIA officers, including some BYU graduates, are serving in the agency's analytic research arm. They will share their insights on the role of intelligence analysis in Washington policy making and what it's like to be an intelligence analyst in today's demanding U.S. policy and foreign-affairs environments.

The officers are not recruiters but have volunteered to share their passion for their work. After their presentation, the officers will answer students' questions about life in the agency, the intelligence profession and challenges they see in the international arena.
