1963 ~ 2007

Mark tragically drowned October 27, 2007 at Jordanelle reservoir while engaging in one of his favorite activities; fishing. Married Cynthia Quackenbush on 17 March 1989 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduated from BYU 1988 with Biology degree, then attended the RDEP program through Creighton University, graduating in 1992. In 1993 he opened a dental practice in Bountiful where he provided service to the public up to the present time. He has been goal oriented since childhood. His greatest joy was spending time with his boys, family and close friends. He loved hiking, fishing, camping, water and snow skiing. Other joys included motorcycling, TV, reading and movies. He served in many church callings with his favorites being gospel doctrine teacher and scouting. His adventurous spirit sometimes kept those around him on their toes. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and generous heart. He was always willing to give to others.

Survived by wife, Cindy; sons, Seth, Daniel, Talmage, and Malachi; mother, Doris; father and mother, L. Edwin and Jean; brothers, Larry, Mason, Lee and Clayton; sisters, Margo, Marla and Colleen; 41 nieces and nephews; three great nieces and nephews, plus four promised.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Canyon View Stake Center, 2110 N. Main in Centerville. Friends and family may call Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main and Friday 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church prior to services.
