Utes' Sakoda earns MWC special teams award again

For the second time this season, Utah kicker/punter Louie Sakoda has been named the Mountain West Conference special teams player of the week.

Sakoda kicked a 46-yard field goal with less than two minutes remaining to seal the Utes' 44-35 road victory at Louisville.

Air Force Academy wide receiver Chad Hall was named the offensive player of the week, and Wyoming's Mitch Unrein was named defensive player of the week.

Hall, a senior, rushed for a career-high 169 yards on 18 carries and two touchdowns in the Falcons' 31-14 victory over UNLV on Saturday.

Academy officials said those 169 yards on the ground were the most by any non-quarterback at Air Force since 1991.

Unrein had a sack and two tackles for loss to go along with a forced fumble in the Cowboys' home win over TCU.
