I wonder if the parents of children currently in private school realize that the tuition that they pay could drastically increase. It's simple economics. If the pro-voucher folks and many legislators get their way, demand for private schools will suddenly increase beginning this fall, with new customers holding an additional $2,000 or more per child in their hands.
Are legislators going to close their eyes to the problems of an underfunded public-education system and create a crisis in private schools that they can then simply ignore? So much for parental choice.
