A 47-year-old Salt Lake City man was charged Monday with raping a special-needs woman he met at a gas station in November.
According to documents filed in 3rd District Court, the man met the woman and "offered to buy her a treat." She got into his car and he drove to a motel, where he had sex with her, according to court documents.
The man was charged with first-degree felony rape, as well as one count each of first-degree forcible sodomy and second-degree forcible sexual abuse. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
