Police have released the name of the Bountiful man who was killed Friday night when his vehicle was rear-ended on I-80.
Garrett Braden, 25, was killed instantly when the vehicle he was driving was hit by another vehicle near the State Street exit, police said.
Braden was driving slowly, possibly trying to pull off to the side of the freeway. Police believe the car may have had mechanical problems.
A passenger in Braden's vehicle, as well as the driver and passenger in the other car, were taken to LDS Hospital with minor injuries.
