Geraldine "Jerree" Lambourne Rogers 1924 ~ 2007 Wonderful mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday January 31 in Bountiful, Utah. Jerree was born August 8, 1924 in Salt Lake City to Scipio Kenner and Florence Lambourne. She was married to John T. Rogers March 9, 1941. She grew up in Salt Lake City and her married years were spent in Fillmore and Mapleton. She served diligently in the Young Women's organization and enjoyed participation in the Relief Society. She loved music, and had a beautiful singing voice. She loved art, and was a talented writer. Above all she gloried in her children. She was an enthusiastic champion of their talent and interests, and supported them tirelessly in their pursuits. Jerree is survived by her son Riley (Brenda) Rogers; her daughter Madeleine (Ed) Giles; nine grandchildren and nine great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her husband John and eldest son Mike. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Feb 6th at 12:00 noon at Wheeler Mortuary 211 East 200 South Springville, Utah with a viewing one hour prior to the service.
