Merle E. Myers (Grandma) Merle E. Williams Myers, age 94, passed away February 3, 2007 in Sandy, Utah. Merle was born December 2, 1912 in Medicine Hat, Canada to John Williams and Mamie Graham Williams. She married James Carrol Myers on April 30, 1941. She was a member of the Granger Community Christian Church. Merle enjoyed reading, court TV and the birthday club. She is a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 10. She is survived by her daughter Barbara Varner and Donald Vanderwood (Marilyn, deceased); grandchildren, Luci Delesbore, Jami Hirschi and Cherlyn McCoy; five great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, James C. Myers, and daughter, Marilyn R. Vanderwood. Funeral Services will be held Thurs., February 8, 2007 at 12:00 noon at the Granger Community Christian Church, 2600 W. 3800 S. The family will receive friends at a visitation one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the Church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
