Gemstone Resorts International, a Park City-based hotel and resort management company, announced that it has signed management agreements to operate luxury hotels in New York and Washington, D.C., and that it has changed its name to Gemstone Hotels & Resorts.
Gemstone's new management agreements involve the Hotel Washington, a 345-room historic hotel, and the Carlton Hotel, a 316-room hotel on Madison Avenue in New York City.
Gemstone manages or asset manages more than 20 projects.
