Vote on best course of action

I find it sad that our political parties seem to be less concerned with deciding the best course of action and more concerned with beating the other party down. The vote to pull out of Iraq was almost exactly split down party lines.

Congratulations, Demos. You won this round. In the meantime, I'll mourn my loss of faith in the representative democracy, because the citizens of the United States — and the votes that decide our nation's course — are the losers.
