Emergency personnel wheel a woman away from an accident scene Monday on State Street near 8500 South. The woman driver in her 50s drifted into a parked car while traveling south on State. The impact pushed the parked car more than 30 feet and caused the woman's vehicle to roll and slide on its roof, said Midvale Police Sgt. John Salazar. He said the vehicle was traveling between 30 and 40 mph. The woman was wearing a seat belt, which may have saved her life, Salazar said. The woman had only a cut on her hand.
