Barbara D. Salmon In Loving Memory Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away April 9, 2007 at her home. She was born April 3, 1924 in Salt Lake City to Robert T. and Marie B. Lusty Erickson. She was raised in Salt Lake City and graduated from the Holy Cross School of Nursing. She loved her nursing career and the friends she made caring for them. She married Melvin J. Salmon in Salt Lake City and later divorced. Survived by four children, Pamela (Bob) Shriver, Cathy Arends, Melvin J. (Myra) Salmon, and Keith D. (Eileen) Salmon; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Erickson; sister-in-law, Janice Erickson; and special friends Diane Nelson and Beth Johnston. Preceded in death by a son-in-law, Donald J. Arends and a brother William T. Erickson. Special thanks to the staff of Atria Assisted Living and the staff of Sunbrook Hospice for their compassionate care of our mother the past two weeks. Funeral services will be held Thurs. April 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 E. 10600 So., Sandy, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment Sandy City Cemetery.
