Ben Sang (Chin) Wong 11/27/1918 ~ 4/8/2007 Our beloved Ben Sang Wong, age 88, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Easter, April 8, 2007. Born November 27, 1918, in Toishan District, Canton, China, son of Chang Wong and Ho See. Immigrated to San Francisco in 1928 and later served in the US Army during World War II. Returned to China and married King Siu Chin in July 1948. They lived in San Francisco for the next 48 years where he owned a successful laundry business. In 1996 they moved to Salt Lake City to be close to family. Dad was a gentle, simple man who enjoyed sitting in his garden, soaking up the sun, while laughing with his great grandkids and family. He was disciplined, hard working, patient, nonjudgmental and exemplified integrity. Survived by his wife of 59 years; sons Dennis (Rose) and Daniel; grandchildren Jason (Rachelle), Natasha and Natalie; great grandchildren Madison, Benjamin and Chesney; and a younger brother Charlie Wong and his family.
