Grover LeRoy Smith Circleville, Utah Grover LeRoy Smith, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family April 14, 2007. Born to Cyrenus Albert Smith and Sarah Alice Robinson, February 4, 1915 in Circleville, UT. He married his eternal companion, Ida Mae Barney August 31, 1944 in Panguitch. The marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple, May 15, 1951. She preceded him in death October 18, 1998. Grover suffered from the debilitating effects of polio as an infant, yet upon losing his father when only 13 he assumed much of the responsibility in assisting his mother with the family farm and his siblings. He was an exceptional horseman, dairyman and farmer. As an active member of the LDS Church, he and his sweetheart served a mission in Nauvoo, IL, and later enjoyed serving in the temple. He is survived by his children: Wayne (Sandra) Smith, Terry Smith, Sandra (Boyd) Hash, Judy (Richard) Clarke, David (Kathy) Smith, 24 grandchildren, 105 great-grand-children, and seven great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents and brothers and sisters. The theme of his life was love; a love for his Heavenly Father, family and friends. He loved being in the outdoors with his family. He had a unique wit, which he shared with everyone through songs and stories. If he had an enemy, his goal was to make a friend out of him.
