Frances Ellen Thurston Watson "Grannie Frannie" Frances Ellen Thruston Watson, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at home April 13, 2007 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. She was born April 6, 1947 to Warren and Ada Iola Thruston in Annabelle, Utah. She married David R. Watson (deceased) September 5, 1965. She worked as a developmentalist at the Utah State Developmental Center for more than 30 years. She was a member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, road trips, and playing in Wendover. Frances is survived by her three sons, Troy (Kalynn), James (Kari Anne), David (Jennifer); two grandsons, Troy and Zachary, all of Lehi, UT; dear friend, Robert Gail Hines, of Am. Fork; siblings, Naioma (Dale) Debolt, Clinton, UT, Norene (Robert) Johnson, Am. Fork, Kalvin (Margret) Thurston, Am. Fork, and Glenda Perry, Pl. Grove. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and her sister, Charlene. Frances and her family are indebted to the Vista Care Hospice personnel and the Provo Dialysis Center for their loving and devoted care. Friends and family are invited to Graveside services held Wednesday April 18, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Lehi Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Am. Fork. Burial in the Lehi Cemetery. Online condolences via andersonmortuary.com
