Marva Rae Drolc Bruno "Mom" PRICE: Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend, Marva Rae Drolc Bruno, age 79, passed away peacefully April 17, 2007, at her daughter's home while surrounded by her loving family. Marva was born September 19, 1927 in Vernal, UT to Frank Jr. and Martha Timothy Drolc. Lived in Craig, CO for 23 years. She moved to Price, UT in 1950. Married Dominic Bruno Dec. 1, 1950 in Price, UT. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Price, UT, 8th Ward. She served as a Primary Teacher, Relief Society Visiting Teacher, and Sunday School Secretary. She was a Pink Lady Volunteer at Castleview Hospital and member of the Sunflower Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She took out her Temple Endowments on Sept. 19. 1986 in the Manti Temple. Mom was an especially kind and compassionate person and was loved by everyone who knew her. She easily made friends and never said an unkind word of anyone. She is survived by three sons, Arthur D. (Tonya) Bruno, Larry P. (Janice) Bruno, both of Price, and Martin R. (Eileen) Bruno, Helper. Three daughters, Jeanece (Steve) Cowan, Price; Barbara (Kelly) McKean, Salt Lake City; and Marianne (Rick) Hanson, Price; brother, Ronald (Georgie) Drolc, Richfield; sister, Mary Lou (Jim) Terry, Craig, CO; brothers-in-law, Pete L. Bruno, Price, and James Paletta, Helper; sister-in-law, Susan Friend, Westminster, CA; special friend, Allie Dee Pierce, Price; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews. Also survived by many step sisters Preceded in death by husband, Dominic, parents, brother Robert and sister-in-law, Myrna Drolc; sister, Betty Paletta; sisters-in-law, Doris Bruno and Mary Ross; brother-in-law, Daniel Bruno; niece, Doris Marx. The family would especially like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Rocky Mountain Hospice, especially to Jessie, Bonnie and Deborah. Funeral service, Friday, April 20, 2007, 11:00 a.m., Price 8th Ward, 995 E, 700 N, Price, UT, under the direction of Fausett Mortuary. Family will be at Fausett's Mortuary, Thursday evening, 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to service at the church. Interment, Price City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Rocky Mountain Hospice, 60 East 100 North, Price, UT 84501.
