LAYTON — The Davis Education Foundation Gala will be held Friday at the Davis Conference Center, 1651 N. 700 West, Layton.
Silent auction begins at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m. The event will also feature a live auction and entertainment with a "Journey to Oz" theme.

Proceeds will fund grants to be made in October 2007 to teachers in Davis School District. Sponsors of the fund-raiser include Menlove Toyota, the Clyde Heiner Family, Layton Hills Mall and Swire Coca Cola USA.
