Salt Lake-based Sire Technologies recently earned a pair of high-level rankings.
Sire was deemed to be among the top five in the government category of the Enterprise Content Management Connection's annual ECE awards. The award honors companies' achievement in appeal, content and education.
The Sire Electronic Content Management Systems were among the top five Best Document Management Solutions for 2007, according to the Software and Information Industry Association. The awards note achievement and vision in software, education technology and digital content.
Also, in part because of its implementation of a combined solution from Sire and Granicus, the city of San Carlos, Calif., earned the Public Technology Institute's Technology Solutions Award. The city won in the Web Services category for technology that enables the public to track City Council business in detail.
