Carolyn J. Myrup 1940 ~ 2007 Carolyn J. Myrup passed away peacefully with family by her side April 26, 2007. She was born February 28, 1940 in Centerfield, UT to Ralph and Ida Jensen. She graduated from Gunnison Valley High School and went on to earn a degree from Snow College. She married Gary E. Myrup January 14, 1961. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was creative and talented in many areas, which included playing both the piano and accordion. She also had an eye for interior design and enjoyed remodeling the family home with her husband, Gary. She liked camping and traveling, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her three granddaughters. She was a loving wife and mother, always putting her family first. She is survived by her husband, Gary; three daughters, Mitsi, Cindy (Don) Rollins, and Tonya (London) Stromberg; three granddaughters, Alysa, Brooklyn, and Paige; two sisters, Alice Jensen and Susan Frischknecht; and her brother, Tony Jensen. Preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ida Jensen. Our family would like to express a special thanks and appreciation to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital and the University of Utah Medical Center, MICU. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Tues, May 1, 2007 at the Hillcrest 6th Ward chapel, 8600 S. 1200 E. A viewing will be held at the chapel Monday evening 6-8 p.m. and at the church Tuesday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment at Mountain View Memorial Cemetery, 3115 E. 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute.
