All of my children have either attended or continue to attend public schools. I don't think I will ever use a voucher to send them anywhere else. I want the public schools to excel.
But I have yet to hear a convincing argument that the new school voucher program will harm public education in any way. And in my experience, a little less monopoly and a little more competition almost always results in a better product for the consumer.
The new program is modest and reasonable. Let's give it a try.
