Leroy N. "Nick" Helmsin 07/26/27 ~ 04/02/07 Nick passed away on April 2, 2007 in Salt Lake City. He was born July 26, 1927 in Portsmouth, Sciota County, Ohio to Leroy Lynn and Cecile Olivia Brooks Helmsin. He was preceded in death by his wife Elnora (Tootie), son Anthony Scott, and his parents. Mr. Helmsin worked many years in the tree pruning business before moving to Utah. He was co-founder and owner of H&H Boiler Company and worked with them in Salt Lake City until his retirement. He is survived by his son Gary (Barbara) Helmsin, and grandson Justin Lee; and sister Ruth M. Petersen, all of Salt Lake City. He is also survived by step-grandchildren; Amy Quigley, Nathan and Ashton McCauley; and several nieces and nephews; and friends Norman and Jerry Bush of Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Mortuary, 3115 East 7800 South (Bengal Blvd) where interment will follow.
