OGDEN — Police said an 18-year-old man was struck by a car and killed when he tried to retrieve his glasses from the middle of Harrison Boulevard.
Ogden police said Adrian Maxson was driving along the 3900 block of Harrison Boulevard just before midnight Tuesday when his glasses fell onto the roadway.
"He stopped his car and got out and was looking for his glasses in the center of the northbound lanes and was hit by a northbound car at about 40 miles her hour," Ogden Police Lt. Scott Sangberg said.

Maxson died from his injuries early Wednesday morning, police said.
