Portions of Geneva Road and 800 North in Orem will be closed from Monday until April 30 because of construction work for the Utah Department of Transportation.
From Monday to April 16, Geneva Road will be restricted to one lane from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for storm-drain installation. The restrictions will apply from Center Street to 700 North in Provo. During the construction, 450 North will also be closed. Residents who normally use 450 North will be redirected to Boat Harbor Road to access the area.
From April 13-30, 800 North will be restricted to one lane from 435 East to 700 East for utility work. The restrictions will be in place 24 hours a day. Motorists can use 400 East and 800 East as alternates to access the area.
UDOT advises the restrictions will cause moderate traffic delays.
