The Utah Office of Tourism recently released a series of new posters featuring the many scenic sights Utah has to offer. Nearly a decade has passed since new posters were released.

The series includes photographs of national parks, mountains, lakes and other places, all taken by "nationally recognized photographers," according to a news release.

"I believe the prints will provide travelers with a real source of inspiration to venture out and enjoy our magnificent state," Leigh von der Esch, managing director of the Utah Office of Tourism, said in the release.

The project took four months to complete. The design work was done in-house. A Salt Lake City company, Printech, did the printing. The posters are a standard size of 24 inches by 36 inches.

In a pre-release to state agencies, more than 800 posters were sold, and 200 framed pictures were distributed to state offices and staff.

The posters cost $5 each and can be purchased at the Utah Office of Tourism's bookstore at 300 N. State.
