Obituary: Lorena Pratt Hadfield

Lorena Pratt Hadfield 1953 ~ 2007 Lorena Pratt Hadfield, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, left this earthly life on June 4, 2007. She was born in American Fork on February 21, 1953, the second child of Ralph and Geri Pratt. She graduated from American Fork High School and attended Snow College. She married Ryan Spafford and they had four children: Amy, Kent, Lori, and Jill. They were later divorced. She met and married Allan Hadfield on March 1, 1991. They were later sealed in the Provo Temple on May 17, 1996. Together they had one son, Jacob. She was employed at the Fourth District Court in American Fork. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many leadership callings. She played the piano and organ beautifully. Her hobbies included scrap booking, bottling the fruits of their garden, baking, crocheting, and doing counted cross-stitch. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her faith and her family were the center of her life. She always put the needs of others before her own. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many friends. Everyone who met her and came to know her loved her. She is survived by her parents, of American Fork; her husband Allan and their son, Jacob, of Lehi; Amy (Kemp) Burnham, Lehi; Kent (Vickie) Spafford, Murray; Lori Spafford, Lehi; Jill (Mark) Frampton, Magna; 10 grandchildren; two sisters and one brother, Valerie (Voyne) Madsen, Lehi; Karen (Lawrence) McCandless, American Fork; and Gary (Kellie) Pratt, Santaquin. Funeral services will be held on Sat., June 9, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the LDS Chapel located at 1149 N. 300 W., Lehi. Friends and family may call on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Wing Mortuary, 118 E. Main, Lehi, and at the church on Saturday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Lehi City Cemetery.
