LeAnn Clement Neuenschwander 1941 ~ 2007 BOUNTIFUL - LeAnn Clement Neuenschwander, a woman of immense wit, wisdom, and uncommon common sense, succumbed to cancer July 13, 2007. She was born February 11, 1941 in Payson, Utah to George Leland and Catherine Mendenhall Clement. LeAnn grew up in Washington Terrace, Utah and was educated in Weber County Schools, graduating from Weber High School. She also completed a degree in cosmetology at Weber College. LeAnn married Dennis B. Neuenschwander June 13, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. This union was blessed with four sons, Jeffery, Michael, Bradley, and Stephen; and 11 grandchildren. Her devotion to family and her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ framed her life. LeAnn was a true homemaker. Whether living abroad or at home, she always created a home of beauty that was both a spiritual center and an anchor for her family. Her positive attitude and cheery outlook, even in the most difficult of circumstances, have found a home in the lives of her children. LeAnn served in many church callings and with her husband completed church assignments at home and across the world, including Frankfurt, Germany; Vienna, Austria; and most recently, Moscow, Russia. She touched, for good, the lives of innumerable missionaries and church members in many lands. To the end of her life she expressed gratitude for the Lord's kindness in permitting her to participate in the establishment of the church in Eastern Europe. Among her most cherished memories were the numerous opportunities to meet with the sisters, to teach them the gospel and introduce them to the auxiliary work of the church. Her honesty and candid nature endeared them to her. Many are the fruits of a good and generous life. In both time and eternity these fruits will be LeAnn's to enjoy. There will be a public viewing at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, in Bountiful, Utah from 6-8:30 p.m. Monday, 16 July. Funeral services will commence at 11 a.m. in the Stone Creek Ward chapel, 1476 North 300 West, Bountiful, Utah, Tuesday, 17 July. There will be a viewing from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Centerville City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family would be pleased if generous donations were made to the Huntsman Cancer Hospital in LeAnn's name.
