The name of a 28-year-old woman who died when her SUV crashed on Sunday has been released.

Alma Cuevas, Salt Lake City, hit a guardrail on I-15 near Santaquin in Utah County about 5 p.m. The vehicle then rolled through the median, said Utah Highway Patrol trooper Preston Raban. Cuevas was killed even though she was wearing a seat belt.

Monday afternoon, another rollover tied up traffic on I-15 near 8600 South, Raban said. The crash occurred after an SUV was forced to swerve after being cut off. The SUV rolled and hit a guardrail, then burst into flames. On its way, it clipped another vehicle.

Two women in the SUV suffered minor injuries, Raban said. Two lanes of the freeway were closed for about an hour while crews cleaned up after the wreck. The vehicle was consumed by the flames.

The vehicle that was clipped was drivable, Raban said. Its occupants were not injured.
