Flora Dunn 1917 ~ 2008 Flora Dunn passed away July 21, 2007. Flora was born to Dr. Charles H. Dunn and Marian Martins Dunn October 8, 1917 in Nephi, Utah. At the age of five Flora moved with her family to Salt Lake City, Utah where she lived the rest of her life. She attended East High School and The LDS Business College. At age 17 Flora accepted a job at Z.C.M.I., eventually becoming head buyer for the fine china and crystal department. Later her career led to employment with Clark Leaming, a Salt Lake City design firm. Flora loved and was proud of her English/Irish heritage. She spent years compiling records, photographs and histories into a genealogical record, that became a lifetime achievement. Flora was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving joyfully in several callings in the Relief Society and Sunday School. Flora loved travel, flowers and beauty. Flora is survived by many loving friends. We will miss her generous spirit. Funeral services Friday, July 27th, 1 p.m. Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street in Salt Lake City, where friends and family may call one hour prior to the services.
