Fay Clayson Andreason Together Forever Fay Clayson Andreason, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, 85, was joyfully reunited with her husband on Wednesday, July 25, 2007. She was born on March 25, 1922 in Benjamin, Utah to Ralph Essom and Reva Wride Clayson. She was the third of five children. As a child she was a tomboy and enjoyed sports, especially softball, riding horses, singing, drawing, going to her grandmother's home, and playing with her cousins and siblings. Fay married William Kenneth Andreason on December 4, 1943. It must have been love at first sight, for they would say, "We knew each other only three days when we got married." They enjoyed doing things together and took many trips, cheered for the Jazz and worked in their home and yard. Prior to Bill's death in 2004, they enjoyed 61 years of marriage and were sealed in the Jordan River Temple. Their marriage was blessed with four sons, Kit, David, Danny and Billy (William). Fay was always supportive of her boys. She looked forward to their visits, phone calls and was always there with a listening ear and understanding heart. She was employed in the medical profession until she retired to donate a kidney to her son, Billy. Fay loved gardening and things of beauty. She could make anything grow. Their yard was always blooming with something, and one year they were honored with the Sandy beautification award. She enjoyed sewing, singing, painting and playing the organ (she started taking lessons again at 82). She loved antiques, auctions and could spy a bargain at a yard sale before the car stopped. She read hundreds of books and loved and lived the gospel of Jesus Christ. She was happiest in her home surrounded by family. She compassionately cared for Bill during his illness in their home when many advised against it. She delighted in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the little children and they loved her back. Fay was a woman of faith, determination and courage. She has left a legacy of love. Survived by sons and their wives, Kit and Yvonne of Everett, WA; David and LaRaine of South Jordan, UT; Danny and Barbara of Riverton, UT; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; sister, Ila Beardall of Santa Rosa, CA; and brother, Calvin Clayson of Spanish Fork UT.
