Salt Lake-based Dynatronics Corp. said Monday that has acquired six independent distributors.
The distributors are based in California, Texas, Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Minnesota.
The separate deals totaled about $8.3 million, including $3.3 million in cash and 4.6 million shares of Dynatronics common stock.
The six are expected to increase Dynatronics' earnings during the first half of fiscal 2008, and sales from the distributors are expected to boost overall Dynatronics revenue for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008, by 80 percent. The six generated about $19 million in combined revenues in 2006.
Dynatronics manufactures, markets and distributes medical devices, orthopedic soft goods and supplies, treatment tables and rehabilitation equipment.
