Salt Lake Acting Company, 168 W. 500 North, on July 18, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., for "Billion Dollar Baby," a new one-woman play by Julie Jensen, directed by Jere Hodgin, former artistic director of the Mill Mountain Theatre, Roanoke, Va.
There is one role for an actress, 50-60 years of age. Auditioners must be familiar with the script, available for 48-hour checkout at the SLAC box office. Both Equity and non-Equity performers are invited to audition. These auditions are by appointment only (363-0526).
Hodgin directed a workshop version of the production in Moscow, Idaho, during February, featuring actress Patty Duke. The theme of the comedy is "conspicuously consumptuous child-rearing."
Rehearsals will begin Oct. 8 and play dates are Nov. 6-Dec. 2.
