Louis Craig Burke

There is an empty place in our lives today with the passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend Louis Craig Burke.Please join us on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007 for the viewing to fill the empty place in our hearts with fond memories and loving thoughts of Lou.

Louis was born the son of Edwin E. and Adah Mills Burke in Castle Gate, Utah. Lived most of his life in Salt Lake City attending East High School and the University of Utah. Lived the last several years in Ogden with his daughter.

Married to the love of his life Faye Hafen Burke. She passed away March 16, 2001. Employed at Tracy Collins Bank and Trust retiring as a Vice President in the trust department. Continued part time after retirement at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Was a Master Mason in good standing at Mt. Moriah Lodge #2 in Salt Lake City for over 60 years. A long time member of El Kalah Oriental Band provided him with many of his fondest memories.

Survived by a son Richard (Gayla) Burke of Bluffdale, a daughter Sandra (Phil) Maxwell of South Ogden, with six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed in all our lives.

Viewing Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Evans and Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, Salt Lake City. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon Thursday, August 23rd at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 132 East 500 South, Salt Lake City.
