Recent letter writers must have gotten their information from a Democratic Web site. "A little research," which they claim to recommend, will show that the people who do the writing and broadcasting on major networks, newspapers and news magazines vote overwhelmingly Democratic. All you have to do is read their articles. They put a liberal slant on most news and rarely print anything positive about a Republican. After Bill Clinton's speeches, Republicans were allowed little or no "response time" while Democrats are allowed almost equal time to respond to every Bush speech that is broadcast. The worst offenders — The New York Times and Los Angeles Times — will print statements from al-Qaida before they will quote the president. If we didn't have talk radio no one would be providing checks and balances.
