OREM — The Utah County Democrats are hosting a community picnic Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. at the pavilion at Nielson's Grove, Sandhill Road and 2000 South.
Bring your own picnic dinner, and drinks and dessert will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring some canned foods to help fill up supplies for the Utah Food Bank.
After the picnic, the group is invited to see the Orem Owlz play the Ogden Raptors at 7 p.m. at Brent Brown Stadium at Utah Valley State College.
