Ricky Christopher Raso
1975 ~ 2007
Ricky Christopher Raso was born May 9, 1975 - The firstborn son of Rick Raso and Karin Edginton Raso. Sadly, for all those that knew and loved him, Chris tempted fate one too many times and died tragically from a gunshot wound. He is now joyfully reunited with his beloved brother Dustin who he has missed so very much over the past 12 years.Chris was a remarkable Dad and he loved and adored his son, Adrian. He enjoyed coaching Adrian in a variety of sports as well as cheering him on with pride from the sidelines. They were best buddies that talked and laughed about everything under the sun. They have a special bond that will endure all time.
Christopher loved other people more than he loved himself and he will be remembered for his generous heart and infectious laugh. He could bring you up with one of his pep talks or put you to sleep with one of his World War II discussions. He was fascinated with history and loved to read. Chris enjoyed spending time outdoors and rarely missed the deer hunt. He and Adrian had recently gone on a rafting trip down the Rogue River and he had so much fun, he couldn't wait to plan another river trip. He had just organized a Super League baseball team and was so excited to play fall ball with the kids.
Chris is survived by his parents, his beloved son, Adrian, his brother Gabe (Kara) whom he greatly respected and admired, his brother and Fantasy Football partner, Dylan, his special nephew, Dustin, his Grandma Joan Edginton that he could call at any time for any reason (and frequently did), Mindy Montoya, the love of his life who remained his friend until the end, his good friends Naomi and Eric and a multitude of special Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Chris loved his extended family so much. He was preceded in death by his brother Dustin, his Grandpa Don Edginton and grandparents, Joseph and Nellie Raso.
