Edna Kimball Fitzgerald

St. George, Utah

Born May 27, 1916, in Salt Lake City to Clark and Lydia Maude Partridge Kimball. Married to Leslie Youngberg in 1934, later divorced in 1950. Married Guy Fitzgerald of Kamas, Utah, on October 8, 1959. He died Nov. 10, 1996.Edna was an active member of the LDS Church and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was a former member of the Allergro Chorus in Salt Lake City, and the Choralettes in Heber City, Utah. Worked for the U.S. Forest Service at the Kamas Ranger Station for 15 years. Edna is survived by her daughter Joan (Chuck) Hecker; Saratoga, CA, and sons Charles (Elaine) Youngberg; LaVerkin, UT, and Larry Youngberg; Parma, ID. Edna has 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Marlene Bean, parents, brothers and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday August 27th, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at the Morningside Stake Center, 881 South River Road, St. George, UT. Visitations will be held on Sunday August 26th, 6:00-8:00 p.m., Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, UT. and again on Monday August 27th, 10:00 a.m., prior to services at the Morningside Stake Center.
