Raised in Bingham Canyon to Greek immigrant parents, John T. and Effie A. Speros, Ann was an independent and loving person who always quietly reached out to help others. Later, Ann sold real estate and became a charter member of the Million Dollar Club, then moved on to open her own successful business outside of real estate. She was a member of multiple organizations including the Pharmaceutical Auxiliary, Women's Council of Realtors, White House Committee on Aging, Salt Lake Council of Women, and Lybia Temple and more. She was a life-long, dedicated member of the Greek Orthodox Community of Salt Lake wherein she was a Sunday School teacher, member and officer in both the Philoptochos and Panahaikos Societies. Her volunteerism in hospitals and community programs was widespread.
