At Colorado Springs, Colo., Nick Gorneault snapped a 1-1 tie in the fifth inning with a two-run homer to the opposite field in right. It was his 59th in a Salt Lake uniform to tie him with former Buzz infielder Chad Rupp for the franchise's all-time lead. He would later add a run scoring double to give the Bees a 5-1 lead. The Sky Sox rallied to score two runs in the ninth and had the potential tying runs on base when Marcus Gwyn struck out Jeff Baker for his 15th save of the season.
Notes: Bartolo Colon will make a rehab start for the Bees on the road today against Colorado Springs...The Angels have also recalled infielder Kendry Morales and optioned infielder Brandon Wood to Salt Lake.
KEY STAT: Nick Gorneault drove in three runs and Jonathon Rouwenhorst pitched seven solid innings.

At Orem, Owlz pitcher Tobin Mason went six innings allowing only two hits and throwing seven strikeouts. Hector Estrella hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Trevor Pippin for the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth.

At Ogden, The Raptors left six men on base in a losing effort to the Chukars. The Chukars Adrian Ortiz drove two runs in in the top of the fith on a fly ball to right field. Idaho Falls put two more runs on the board in the sixth inning. Ogden's Alex Garabedian Homered in the bottom of the ninth.
KEY STAT: Robert Blevins had six strikeouts in five innings of work but also gave up seven hits and three runs.
