Friday was a time of reflection.
Education Week has impacted me in countless ways. Every day the Spirit has been strong, and I have felt uplifted, comforted, challenged, intrigued, excited and edified. My temporal knowledge has broadened. My understanding of the Gospel has increased. My love for the Savior has deepened.
BYU is a fine institution. It has a beautiful campus and a capable staff. Yet, when it comes to a certain sporting event, which the media has turgidly dubbed college footballs holy war, my loyalties remain with Utah. After all, I have a family. They have a history. And their honor must be preserved.
But Ill definitely be back for next year's Education Week.
