BRISBANE, Australia — Relief Society sisters of the Brisbane Australia Stake took part this year in the Red Cross Trauma Teddy Bear project. After months of preparatory work, they met recently at the Cleveland Ward meetinghouse to complete the project. Throughout the day, 400 teddy bears were stitched, stuffed, embroidered and labelled.

Anne Peterken, representing the Red Cross Trauma Teddy project for the Wynnum-Manly district and who directed the project, explained that the Trauma teddy bears are issued to comfort children in stressful situations. Some of the 800 teddy bears given away yearly will be distributed to the Redlands Hospital and other sites in the Redlands area.
