Robert L. Miller

9/25/29 ~ 8/18/07

Bob was born to Fred and Ada Miller and had a happy childhood in Dix, NE. He was a long-time IML truck driver in Salt Lake City, owned a business in Roosevelt, later worked for Interpace Brick in Ogden and retired in Phoenix.

Bob had two sons, Steve and Ken, with his first wife, Imogene Stark. He also had five stepchildren, Stanley, Lana, JD, Paula and Bill, with his second wife, Owna, whom he was married to for almost forty years.

Bob always had a joke and funny story to tell and never met a stranger. He was a mechanical genius who could fix anything. He loved fast cars, motorcycles, water skiing, fishing, hunting, guns and racing. He rode his 1947 Indian Chief to the first Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats and returned many more times. Even in all his years as a truck driver, he never had a ticket. He always said his age was 34 because, although he was 77, his teeth were new. We will miss you, Dad.

He died peacefully of COPD in Salt Lake City and was cremated. No services as he wished.
