Regine Berndt Jones

Regine B. Jones, 62, of Sparks, NV, joined her Heavenly Father Wednesday, August 22, 2007.
She was born June 22, 1945 in Hamburg, Germany to Otto and Frieda Berndt. Regine moved to the United States with her parents, three sisters and three brothers when she was only five years old, settling in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is where she graduated from Highland High School and attended the University of Utah.
On August 22, 1969 she married her one and only true love, Charles B. Jones, and together had six children and nine grandchildren. Regine loved her job and did it well for 37 years; the job of teaching and providing for her family. She was talented in sewing and crafts, and passed her knowledge and passion down to her children and grandchildren.
Regine is preceded in death by both of her parents, two sisters, and a brother.
Surviving is her husband of 38 years, Charles B. Jones; their children, Angela (Clark) Roundy, Michelle (Charles) Sheffield, Patricia (Todd) Hudson, Kimberly (Joshua) Alexander, Christina (Steven) Clarke, Spencer Jones; and their nine grandchildren.
Regine was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently attending the Sparks 5th Ward. Funeral services will be held at the Sparks 5th Ward LDS chapel in Sparks, NV Tuesday, August 28, 2007. Graveside services will be held at Memorial Cemetery, 6500 S. Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 11 a.m., Thursday, August 30th.
